Hi everyone; I’m the mind, body, and soul behind Milkweed! As a lot of dad’s like to joke, my name must be a birthright into floristry. In all honesty, it really has been a constant thread throughout my life. From picking flowers in my mom’s garden, to working in a flower shop in Boston right after college, then tackling florals for my own wedding in 2021, and eventually freelancing for event florists around Maine - I fell head over heels for wedding florals!

As an art school grad, I spent the past 8 years trying to find the right medium to create with, and to say things bloomed when I touched flowers is an understatement! I started Milkweed because I believe flowers are at the crossroads of delicate and complex, simple but impactful, and that they hold the key to enhancing every event. I can’t wait to meet all the amazing couples who will trust me with this important element of the best day of their lives!!
