“Happiness held is the seed; happiness shared is the flower”

Hi, I’m Iris!

The mind, the hands, the slightly flower-obsessed heart behind Milkweed Floral Co.

Yes, dads love to say my name destined me for floristry.
Honestly? They might be right.

As an art school grad, I spent eight years chasing the right medium. Paint. Projects. Possibilities. Then I touched flowers — and everything clicked.

Flowers have always been the throughline. Clipping blooms from my mom’s garden. Working in a flower shop in Boston after college. Designing every stem for my own wedding in 2021.

Somewhere along the way, I fell hard for wedding florals. (Like, head-over-heels hard.)

Because flowers are magic like that. Delicate but complex. Simple but powerful. Soft — and still the thing everyone remembers.

That’s why I started Milkweed.

And I cannot wait to meet the couples who trust me with one of the most meaningful pieces of their best day ever.

No pressure. Just unforgettable flowers.

The Finer Details

My cortado ritual

Half sweet, seasonal syrup, on repeat. It's the small things.

Crime and curiosity

Morbid and Crime Junkie keep me company. A lot. Probably too much.

Delicate

Taylor Swift's music lives in my head rent-free. Every album, every era.

My kind of magic

Sourdough. The patience, the process, the smell of it rising. It's meditation in carb form.

Mountain moments

31 four-thousand footers summited, and the view never gets old.

Let’s create something meaningful together.
